Nick Warfle, a 10-year-old boy from New York who suffers from cerebral palsy is not only speaking and writing, but winning awards thanks to a new gadget. Though Nick can barely say a word, he can communicate and exercise his creativity through his Dynavox MT4.

With help from his mother (and a special, symbolic language), Nick has written two award-winning stories. With "Emily Goes to the Park," Nick placed in a PBS contest, and "The Race to Red Onion Ranch," earned him runner-up in a writing competition for Subway.
